Fees:

The Ohio State General Assembly sets fees for all recordings and services provided at the Putnam County Recorder’s Office.

For your convenience, we have provided a quick-reference fee schedule for our most-used services. For a comprehensive list of fees, please visit the Ohio Recorder’s Association web site.

 

 

 

Recordings:

Deeds, mortgages, Leases, Affidavits, Partnerships, Certificates of Transfers, Most Recordable Documents

$28.00 for the first two pages, plus 

$8.00 for each subsequent page (Note: each printed side is one page).

 

Documents with Reference for Marginal Notation (e.g. Releases, Ammendments, Assignments, Re-recordings, etc.)

 

Regular recording fee, plus 

$4.00 for each marginal notation.

Plats

$40.00 per plat document

 

UCC Filings:

Financing Statements relating to real estate

 

$12.00, plus 

$4.00 for each name indexed

 

Ammendment, Assignment, Continuation, Part Release, and Termination (relating to real estate)

 

$12.00, plus 

$4.00 for each name indexed

Search

 

$20.00 per search

Limited Search (of one UCC document)

 

$5.00

Liens:

Federal Tax Liens, Releases or Partial Releases

 

$5.00 for liens;

$3.00 for release

 

Personal Property Tax Liens, Releases

 

No fee for liens;

Bureau of Workers Compensation Liens - certificates of premium due, related filings, releases

Recognizance Liens - releases

Unemployment Compensation (OBES) - Releases
