Customer Service is Our Number One Priority!!

Our Services Include:

	Friendly and knowledgeable office staff that is ready to serve walk-in customers.
	Office hours are 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m. Monday – Friday, excluding Legal Holidays
	We are one of the most modern Recorder’s Offices in Northwest Ohio, using the newest technology for recording and microfilming.
	We carefully inspect each document to be recorded ensuring the least amount of error possible.  If an error is found, the submitting agent is contacted by phone or sent a letter of explanation.
	We provide free certified copies of Recorded Military Discharge DD214’s to veterans and funeral home.

A         Yes

Q         Does your county require a legal description with releases and assignments?

A          Yes, any document that references real estate must contain the legal description.

Q         Does your county require $4.00 for marginal notations on releases and assignments?

A         Yes

Q         What is the charge for copies made by the public?

A          25 cents each

Q         What is the charge for copies by the Recorder’s Staff?

A          $2.00 per page

Q         What is the charge for faxes?

A         $2.00 per page for local or toll free numbers

            $4.00 per page for long distance numbers

Q         Does your Putnam County offer on-line access?

A         Yes, indexes only.

Q         What is your County Auditor’s transfer fee?

A          50 cents per parcel (please check with Auditor’s Office) 419-523-6686

Q         What is your County Auditor’s conveyance fee?

A          $4.00 per $1,000 since 2000
